She sorts your inbox, prepares your meetings, files your receipts and reminds you of what you promised. You talk to her at your Mac or in the iPhone app. She runs on your own machine. Anything that goes out, she only sends with your okay or under rules you set yourself.

Who Orena is for

For business owners whose week is half admin.

You meant to work 30 hours a week and ended up at 50. The gap is rarely your core work. It sits in the inbox, in receipts, quotes, scheduling and hunting down numbers. Hiring is not an option for many: a salary in the slow months too, onboarding, holiday cover. Orena takes over that work, and you don't have to manage anyone for it.

What Orena is

One core on the Mac. One surface in your pocket.

Most AI assistants live in someone else's data centre. Orena runs on your Mac, and that is where her memory, rules and credentials live too. The iPhone app is the surface on top. It is not a second AI and keeps no copy of your data. Decisions are made on the Mac only.

You speak, she listens

Her name wakes her, at the start of a sentence or in the middle. Orena checks whether it is your voice. If someone else in the room says “Orena”, she normally stays quiet.

She keeps track

Orena listens for promises, deadlines and open loops in conversation and keeps them, without you having to say “remember this”. She syncs mail, calendar, Notion and Drive every three hours. The result is a company memory rather than a chat log.

You decide what she may do

Orena may read freely. An email, a meeting with others or a post goes out only once you approve it. You set the exceptions yourself, for example that she confirms appointment requests directly or lets a client know when you are running late. In the dashboard you open every draft, approve it or send it back with a note.

Local on your Mac

Your Mac is the hub.

Orena runs on your Mac. That is where her memory, rules and credentials live. For thinking and speaking she uses Gemini and Claude on your own accounts. Everything else she connects directly: mail, calendar, Notion, your CRM, Drive, your accounting software and the apps on your Mac. All in all she already works with more than 100 programs.

Orena runs on any Mac with an Apple chip, so from M1 onwards. What matters is that it stays switched on while Orena is working for you.

Orena works in the background. She sorts, prepares and files without interrupting you every twenty minutes. When something is genuinely urgent, she tells you on your iPhone.

Security & privacy

Built for people who don't lend out their data.

An assistant who knows your calendar, your mail and your customers is only worth as much as the trust you can give her. That is why Orena's restraint is built into the program itself.

External providers such as the language model receive data only for the request at hand. The providers are listed in the privacy policy.

Starts in practice mode

After installation no real email goes out and no device is switched. For the first two weeks you see what Orena would have done. You switch on live operation yourself.

Every task runs on its own

Calendar, mail and voice run separately. If the calendar fails, your mail keeps running.

Blocked stays blocked

What you have forbidden stays forbidden. Orena won't quietly try again.

Passwords kept safe

Your logins are kept in your Mac's password store. They never reach us, not even during updates.

iPhone without a data copy

The iPhone holds only what it needs to connect to your Mac. Of your location, Orena keeps only the last place, no movement history.

Secure updates, daily backup

Updates come only from us and can be undone. Your data stays on your Mac. Every night Orena creates an encrypted backup, and on request also copies it to a folder of your choice.

Everything Orena keeps an eye on, in one place: what's coming up, what waits for your approval, what the AI cost today and whether all services are running. On your Mac and on your iPhone.

  • Status of every service as a traffic light. If one stalls, Orena tries to restart it

Ready in three steps.

Set up the Mac

Orena is installed on your Mac and then connected to your individual services. The AI and cloud services run on your own accounts with Anthropic, Google and Cloudflare.

Install the app & pair

You install the app on your iPhone and pair it with your Mac using a QR code. From then on Orena comes with you.

Train her

Orena learns your voice, your structure and your routines. You give her rules in plain sentences, such as: “Amazon invoices go in the Invoices mail folder. Save the PDF to Google Drive under Accounting/2026, named by date and invoice number.” Rules like that apply everywhere from then on.

About us

Born from our own day-to-day.

Orena grew out of a problem we both know all too well: too many tasks for too few hands.

We are both self-employed and spent years carrying every part of our business ourselves: emails, meetings, receipts, quotes and so on. At some point it was clear that even more hours were not the answer. So we built an AI assistant that takes most of it off our plate. Orena runs in our own business every day.

Common questions about Orena.

What is Orena?
Orena is an AI assistant. She runs on your own Mac, and you use her by voice, by text or through the iPhone app. She reads your mail, your calendar, your CRM, Google Drive, your accounting software and much more. She prepares work. She only acts outwardly with your approval or under rules you set yourself.
Who is Orena for?
For self-employed people and business owners, with or without a team, who spend too much time on admin. Orena takes over the routine work that otherwise piles up: the inbox, quotes and receipts, scheduling and hunting for documents. She does it in the background, and you get time back for your customers and your core business.
Where is my data?
On your Mac. Conversations, memory, tasks and files live there, not with us. We have no access to them. For an AI answer your Mac sends the request, along with the memory it needs, to Anthropic or Google Gemini, using your own accounts.
Which AI powers Orena?
Orena thinks with Claude by Anthropic and speaks with Gemini Live by Google. Both run on your own accounts. You pay the providers directly, and you set a daily cap in the dashboard.
Does Orena need an internet connection?
For AI answers and connected services, yes. Your data still stays on your Mac. The connection carries the request, it doesn't store anything.
Can she send something by accident?
No. After installation Orena sends nothing at all. What she may send on her own afterwards is up to you. Orena only calls other people on your instruction, and she asks twice before doing so. In the dashboard you can always see what she has done.
Does Orena speak English?
Yes. During setup you choose English or German. If you ask a question in the other language, she answers in that language.
Does Orena replace my accountant?
No. Orena prepares and files receipts, your accountant still does the books. She gives no legal or tax advice, and you still handle customer conversations and negotiations yourself.
What happens when my Mac is off?
Then Orena rests. She needs a Mac that is switched on. That is exactly why your data stays with you.
Which devices do I need?
A Mac with an Apple chip, so M1 or newer, and macOS 14 or newer. We recommend 16 GB of memory or more. Orena does not run on Macs with an Intel processor. For when you're out, you need an iPhone with iOS 18 or newer.
Can Orena make mistakes?
Yes. Orena works with AI models from Anthropic and Google, and AI can be wrong or misunderstand something. Check important results before you use them, especially contracts, payments and messages to clients. You decide what Orena may do without asking, and in the dashboard you can see what she has done.
Can I buy Orena for private use?
No. Orena is only available to self-employed people and businesses who use it for their professional work. When you buy, you confirm that you are acting as a business. There is therefore no right of withdrawal as with private purchases.
